About Pari

Pari Berk (formerly Pari Chang) is a narrative nonfiction writer, a graduate of NYU School of Law, and a mother of two. Her first-person essays have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Believer, SELF, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Parents, and have been anthologized. Pari lives in her childhood home in New Jersey with her mother, two children, and a rescue dog. Currently, Pari is engrossed in the completion of her memoir, The Meatpacker’s Daughter, along with several long-form journalism pieces and litigating the occasional case.
